Each world consists of a starting point and an end point with the final level of that world, constructed on a 7x5 grid. A set of these worlds, called a Super World, can then be published by players to Course World for others to play. World Maker allows players compile different levels from Coursebot into their own worlds.

The player can now set whether completing the clear condition automatically allows you to win the level or not. A level can now have two clear conditions rather than one. The Rotten Mushroom is now available as an element, rather than being exclusive to Night themes. The One-Way Wall and Tracks are now available in 3D World. and Bully are now available in classic themes. The Goomba Mask now only takes effect while ducking, allowing for more stealth-based levels. The Bullet Bill Mask can now change altitudes by holding up or down. Players can now connect multiple Clear Pipes together to create branching paths. 
The player can choose which sub-area the pipe goes to when selecting it. Players can now add an additional sub-area to a level.You can now stack elements in the 3D World style.
Players can link the two areas through Connector Elements, Big Red Cannons or Karts.
The 3D World style now allows players to add elements to both the foreground and background. However, many themes were given more specialized backgrounds rather than the simple night sky background. Night theme, due to the introduction of being able to change factors, has become more of an aesthetic change. Though certain themes will still have default factors put into them, they can be changed.
